The Secret Santa Foundation was inspired and founded by Larry Stewart, a.k.a. "Secret Santa." While the main purpose of this foundation is to promote random and deliberate acts of kindness and generosity, the foundation also provides additional assistance to charitable organizations within the communities that are served.
"Thirty-five years ago a cold, hungry, and homeless young man walked into the Dixie Diner in Houston, Mississippi. With no money in his pockets he concocted a plan of petty crime to get something to eat and then pretend he had lost his wallet. He had no idea what was in store for him.
A single act of kindness by a man named Ted Horn, the owner of the diner, changed this young man's life forever."
The young man never forgot that act of kindness and as a result Secret Santa was born.
You may honor Secret Santa's legacy by your own acts of selflessness, kindness, and generosity; this includes those acts of a personal, financial, as well as other similar natures and expressions.
This foundation's focus and goals include:
- promote random and deliberate acts of kindness and generosity across the city, state, region, country, and the entire world.
- increase awareness of charitable organizations, their missions, and those whom are served.
- financially assist those charitable organizations within the communities that are served.
- increase participation, awareness, and provide additional resources for those in need or those looking to help.
